Reptile Care and Husbandry Information
Welcome to a new and growing online resource for the care and maintenance for many different species of common reptiles kept in captivity. Currently you can find quick flash guides for many different snake species, everything from corn snakes and garter snakes to boa constrictors and burmese pythons! The content is continuing to be updated, so keep looking back for new additions, or feel free to shoot me an e-mail and request specific species or other information. I’m happy to answer questions!

Breeding Projects

I’m not quite at the stage where I’m ready to breed yet, but I’m getting there! My first project will be Bolivian Boa Constrictors, a beautiful sub species of dwarf boa constrictor! Keeping the dwarf theme in mind, I hope to also work with Caulker’s Cay Boas and Ridge-Tailed Monitors in the future!

Educational Programs

I perform hands-on, interactive educational programs through the venue The Farmer’s Pantry several times throughout the summer. If you live in Southern Ontario, you should stop by, or consider booking your own private show! –More info on Educational Programs

About Cheryl

I've been eagerly catching snakes in the wild up here in Canada since I was a kid, but the real addiction started when I picked up my first pet snake in first year university. That spurred on a quest to gain as much knowledge and understanding of these animals as possible, and continues on to this day. Now my collection has grown, though still stays modest.

Fact of the Week
'Many lizards smell the same way that snakes do, by using their tongue! This includes lizards like geckos and iguanids, that don’t smell constantly with a forked tongue like tegus and monitors, but instead seem to ‘taste’ their environment.'
